INFORMATION TEXT ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
Definitions
KVKK: Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data
Personal Data: Any information, including information contained in the personnel file, relating to an identified or identifiable natural person/employee, such as identity, address, telephone number, email address, ID number, driver's license number, passport number, etc.
Personal Data Protection: Pursuant to KVKK No. 6698, any information that allows a natural person to be identified or identifiable is considered personal data. We would like to inform you about the purposes of processing your personal data held by MAKAM A.Ş., the legal reasons for processing, the methods of collection, to whom and for what purposes it may be transferred, and the rights granted to you under KVKK, both related to and independent of these.
Data Controller and Personal Data Categories
Pursuant to Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("Law No. 6698"), your identity information, contact information, information that may be included in the message you send us, marketing information, and transaction security information may be processed by MAKAM A.Ş. ("Company"), acting as the data controller, within the scope detailed below.
Methods Regarding the Collection of Personal Data
As the data controller, the Company collects your identity and contact information, such as your name, surname, phone number, email address, etc., and any personal data that may be included in the message you send us, in accordance with our legal obligations arising from the KVKK and other relevant legislation, as well as legal grounds arising from relevant legislation, contracts, requests, and principles of good faith, in order to provide you with quality services and to conduct our business activities within this framework, by written or electronic means based on your explicit consent. We collect your identity and contact information, such as your name, surname, phone number, email address, etc., provided in the contact form.
Purposes of Processing Personal Data
Your personal data collected through the contact form is processed for the limited purposes of evaluating your messages, responding to your requests, creating, processing, and completing your requests, fulfilling your requests for information regarding our services, conducting communication activities, monitoring requests/complaints, and executing service processes, depending on your request submitted through the contact form.
Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data is transferred to our group companies, business partners, suppliers, legally authorized public institutions, and private individuals, provided that your explicit consent is obtained or, under the conditions that "data processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject." Furthermore, your personal data is transferred to our business partners, legally authorized public institutions, and private individuals located abroad, without your explicit consent, provided that your explicit consent is obtained or that the data is located in countries with adequate protection/reliable as determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
As stated above, the Company may only share your personal data in question with, but not limited to, other relevant authorities, including, but not limited to, our business partners, business contacts, and stakeholders, the information technologies we use, servers located in Turkey or abroad, the companies that provide these server support, and individuals and institutions in Turkey and abroad from whom we receive physical servers and/or cloud services, suppliers that process data on behalf of our Company, or public institutions or organizations authorized to request such data pursuant to a legal obligation.
Source and Legal Reason
Your personal data collected electronically, through written or verbal data transmission via the website; Data is collected and processed based on the legal grounds of "data processing is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject," as specified in Article 5/2-f of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, and your explicit consent as specified in Article 5/1. Limited to the purposes specified in Article 3 of this text, for the protection of the rights and interests of the data subject, the provision of rights and benefits to you for the establishment of a business relationship, the maintenance and development of internal company activities, and the fulfillment of obligations arising from legislation.
